Established by Dr John Corbett (a Consultant Neurologist) and Dr. Sean Tolhurst, Snore Australia is Australia’s largest group of Sleep Laboratories. Snore Australia are also one of the only Group of Sleep Laboratories where all Sleep Studies are bulk billed with no “out of pocket” expenses. Medicare allows you to have up to three studies a year.
Sleep study referrals have to be from a Medical Doctor. From this link you can download a referral form for your GP to complete to get your Bulk Billed Sleep Study. Once treated, most patients kick themselves for not doing something about it years ago.

If you are an urgent patient (ie. you are a truck driver and need to get treatment before you can drive) ask about going on the standby list.
For interstate patients, it is probably quicker and cheaper for you to fly into Brisbane. Wait times for the Brisbane City Centre Clinic are only 2-3 weeks.
(From the airport the Sleep Clinic is approximately $25 in Taxi or $12 on train with 10min walk)

The Gold Coast Sleep Disorders Centre (GCSDC) was established by Dr John Corbett (a Consultant Neurologist) and Dr Michael Thompson (a Consultant Respiratory Physician) to perform comprehensive sleep studies and to provide a consultative sleep disorders service for the Gold Coast community.
