| Q. Hi I am interested in this mask, Currently I use the HC406 Nasal Mask but am getting leakage from my mouth, Is there a guide for which size to get? Or is a fitting the only way to tell? |
(Posted: 10th August, 2009) |
A. The only accurate way to try a new mask is to fit it, under pressure, and in your normal sleeping conditions (laying down, one pillow etc).
Not doing this will usually leave you with a new mask that doesn't fit.
This is why we do not recommend buying a "new to you" mask over the internet.
The cheaper alternative may be to purchase a chin strap, to help keep your mouth closed while you sleep. |

| Q. I currently use the F&P 432 mask. Would I need to try on the Forma mask or would it be safe to purchase it on the internet? Are there any parts of the 432 that would be compatible with the Forma, or would I need to purchase the complete Forma mask? |
(Posted: 21st Sept, 2009) |
| A. You would need to purchase a complete mask. The sizing is almost exactly the same, but we would still recommend getting the Forma fitted first, just to be sure. |
