| Q. The heater in my cpap 608 machine doesnot seem to work, is it the tube or the heater plate? |

A. The issue is probably the heater plate.
To test, take out the humidifier chamber, set the humidifier to a high setting, and turn on the machine.
Place a finger or two onto the exposed metal heater plate and see if it heats up. As soon as you feel warming stop touching the plate and turn off the machine.
If the plate doesn't heat up, it is probably broken and needs to be replace. Call the supplier to ascertain if it is still covered under warranty. |
