| Q. What is the usb cable and is there a part number? Can it be purchased generically or is it propriatary? My machine has a round plug hole on the back in addition to the card reader. I have Escape II with the HunidAire 3i? |

A. The round plug hole in the back is for a 12 volt converter connection.
The USB Adaptor replaces the Smart Card slot on the S8 machines and allows direct connection to a pc, using a machine to USB port cable. It is Resmed specific.
Rescan software is also required for downloading.

| A. You should not need drivers, just the ResScan 3.7 software. |
