| Q. If you use the sleepzone heated tubing would you still need to use a humidifier? |
(Posted: 10th Sept, 2007) |
| A. Yes, the heated tube helps keep the extra moisture from the humidifier in the air, not in the tube, but the humidifier provides the extra moisture in the first place. |

Q. Can you please tell me how the heated tubing is powered - Is it battery powered or does it plug into a separate power point position? Does it come with the adapter? Thanks for your help,

A. The Sleepzone Heated tube works off low voltage from an included power pack.
It works off your normal household power supply |

| Q. We have fitted out our camper with a 12 volt system especially for my Gooodknight 420e. will the heater work from 12 volts without an inverter? If so how much power would it draw? |
(Posted: 21st Jan, 2009) |
A. No, only the new Respironics Remstar Humidifier will work on 12volts. All other machines require you to either remove the humidifier or make sure that it is turned off. (They will provide some humidification when turned off, but not as efficiently)
You may consider using warm water in the turned off humidifier to at least get some comfort at the beginning of sleep. |

| Q. How do you clean the heated tubing? |
(Posted: 22nd June, 2009) |
| A. I block off one end with a large cork (or anything similar) and half fill the tube with warm soapy water, give it a shake, empty it, and then a good rinse with clean water the same way, then hang it up to dry. I do this monthly with mine. |
