You can 
accurately and easily measure activity and heart rate as well as calculate energy expenditure for ambulatory activities such as bike riding, skate boarding, weight lifting, etc. Active energy expenditure is often underestimated in these, and similar types of, activities with the use of an accelerometer alone.
Actiheart is a compact and rechargeable activity and heart rate recording device. Activity and heart rate data are logged into nonvolatile memory for later download. The data are downloaded to a computer, via the Actiheart reader/charger, for assessment of activity, heart rate, and calculated energy expenditure. Data are edited with full traceability and without compromising the integrity of the original recording.
