The Resmed CD-12 converter allows you to operate any Resmed S8 device from a 12v or 24v DC power source in a boat or campervan etc.

Please note only the ResMed DC-Converter should be used with ResMed S8 CPAP machines.

Question 1: We are plannig a camping trip (use a Resmed S8) - is a 12volt marine type battery the best choice and how many hours or nights would you expect from a fully charged marine battery?

Question 2: I have a S8 auto set Spirit II. We have frequent power outages at our home from the power company.We have been using a petrol generator to provide power for my CPap machines during the outages which usually do not last for more than a couple of hours. Would it be possible to power the CPap machine from a dry cell 12 volt battery using the Resmed DC12v and 24v CPap converter. It would be much simpler to hook the machine up to a dry cell battery instead of getting the generator going.

Question 3: Using a deep cell marine battery source,and S8 Elite,do I have to have a converter with cords,or can you use cord and plug only to operate directly with the CPAP?
