Do Not Buy the N20 mask
"I've reverted to having to find the Mirage FX - as this is another backward step from Resmed. I was told that the Mirage FX was discontinued and my option was the N20 mask - so I spent the $$$ on it. However, the connection from the hose to the mask leaks badly - it blows a stream of air out of it. It either keeps you awake by the sound of the air, or by the air blowing into your face and eyes - or from your wife kicking you to move your head and not face her as she cant stand the wind on her face. I had mentioned this in my 10 September 2026 review and I received the following: "Ease of making an appointment Ease of making an appointment and seeing a consultant - but i'm not a fan of the N20 I'm afraid Comments by Store Owner on Review by Resmed Australia on Sat Sep 12 2026 Resmed Australia Hi Clive, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding the N20 and appreciate your feedback on our appointment process. " So I made an appointment to see the local Resmed consultant and as soon as I mentioned I had a problem with the N20, they said "dont tell me - I can guess - I've had the same feedback for the last 6 years and there is nothing I can do" Why are you selling such a problematic mask? It really didn't help me sleep well - so now I have to search for discontinued product. But you have a track record in defective /not fit for purpose products. you changed the water tub from a rectangle metal base to a circular metal base. Never had a problem with the rectangular ones - but the last two circular metal based ones have both been rusting away - and no, its not because I dont use distilled water - I've never used distilled water since I got my CPAP over 12 years ago - its only been the circular ones. If I cant find the Mirage FX, it may be time to give ResMed the flick and find another CPAP machine and provider - I hear that the Fisher and Paykel ones aren't bad!"

N20 mask
"I’m finding the edge of the mask too soft. It is ok when laying on my back but squashes in when I lay on my side and seems to restrict breathing. I have tried to persevere with it but end up pulling it off. The previous mask did not have this soft edge , is this style still available. Regards E A Wait"

"I'm struggling to maintain a good seal with this N20 nasal cushion. I'd used small silicone N20 nasal cushions for over 10 years. I've recently become sensitive to silicone and tried the new cushion. Weirdly, I need an M in the new style. I'm not sure if it's the size and/or texture of the new cushion, but it's confusing and a little frustrating."
