Description

The Resmed AirCurve™ 11 ASV* is a bilevel machine for patients who have been prescribed ASV therapy by a qualified healthcare professional for central sleep apnea, complex sleep apnea, or periodic breathing. Using adaptive servo‑ventilation, it responds to breathing changes in real time to help stabilise ventilation and deliver comfortable PAP therapy throughout the night.

*ASV therapy is contraindicated in patients with chronic, symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2-4) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤ 45%) and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnea.

The AirCurve 11 ASV is designed to detect patients' breathing patterns and adapt to deliver personalised therapy. Built in support tools like myAir™, Care Check In, Personal Therapy Assistant and Test Drive help patients get started and stay on track during early therapy.^

A touchscreen makes settings easy to navigate, while wireless connectivity allows therapy data to sync automatically with the myAir app. When used with compatible Resmed CPAP masks and Air Solutions accessories, AirCurve 11 ASV provides a connected therapy experience built to maximise comfort.

^Some features of myAir are only available in the myAir app and with Air11 devices.

Contraindications

Positive airway pressure therapy may be contraindicated in some patients with the following pre-existing conditions:

  • severe bullous lung disease
  • pneumothorax or pneumomediastinum
  • pathologically low blood pressure, particularly if associated with intravascular volume depletion
  • dehydration
  • cerebrospinal fluid leak, recent cranial surgery, or trauma
