Newer frames are made out of medical grade silicone that can harden over time so we recommend replacing these every 6 months. For the older models' mask frames are made of strong plastic and are more durable than mask cushions. Their lifespan will depend on well you look after them. If they ever get damaged, cracked, or discoloured, you should replace them immediately.
