Description
The Resmed chin strap is designed to help hold the mouth closed during sleep encouraging nasal breathing. Can be used under CPAP nasal and pillow masks while on CPAP therapy. One size fits all, velcro adjustable on the top of the head.
For best results keep the top strap as far forward as you can towards the front of the head, to support the chin vertically rather than diagonally backwards.

"It digs into my face. If I loosen it it doesn’t work. Also slips off my head. It gave me a sore on my chin originally, but after using bandaids it cleared up. I’m preservering ,as staff said eventually it will train your mouth not to open ."

"Took awhile to get used to this but once I did, I have slept well every night. It has definitely reduced the amount of leakage by helping to keep my mouth closed while I sleep. . . I recommend this product."

"I didn’t have any trouble getting used to wearing this chinstrap. I had developed a habit of opening my mouth during sleep which dried out my mouth and disturbed my wife’s sleep. I gave this strap a go and it worked very well for me. I didn’t have any pressure pains on my head but did find the strap over the head could slide over my hair and out of position under my mask straps. Maybe a redesign with a higher and lower strap system would be an improvement? It still worked effectively though."
